Hong Kong students have stated that they will continue to protest and continue to occupy the government if the CE, CY Leung, does not resign by Thursday. After last nights downpour, the protesters show no sign of relenting and have continued to stay put, as they have for the past four days. It's now a waiting game...

Now that it's the public holiday, I know a few people on ground now. Hope it gets resolved in the best way possible.
BTW, this might be off-topic-ish, but do you go to an international school or something? Your English is pretty damn spot on!

I should hope his English would be pretty good, seeing how long Hong Kong was under rule of the UK. I've got a buddy who was originally from Hong Kong that speaks very good English as well.

It all depends if it's public, private or international. I know have family members who go to a public school and can barely speak/understand English except for a few "okays" and "hellos". But also a friend who has gone through an international school and can speak perfect English (and prefers to speak in English).

Yup - I grew up abroad so when I came back to Hong Kong a few years ago, I had no choice but to join an international school (that charges fees exceeding an extortionist level) since my Chinese is pretty poor. I'm alright now and can also speak enough Cantonese to get around, but I usually prefer to use English. Unless of course I want to scathingly insult rude foreigners in my school. Hehe.
